| In Deep Nude, Naked Africa A Wild African Party Libreville Welcome to Gabon, the place on earth where you are going to have the greatest time of your life! Your female tour guide (speaking your language) and a driver will be waiting for you at the airport Léon Mba in Libreville. She will help you with immigration formalities and they’ll transfer you to the Hotel Atlantique (4 stars), near the airport and by the beach front. After refreshing, and depending on your arrival time, you will have a dinner at the Restaurant Buffet "La Goélette” that belongs to the hotel. When dinner is finished we would have a drink at the Bar "Le Skipper" and we will get to know each other and also discuss guidelines of the tour and the kind of activities you may have interest to practice while you are in Libreville. Those activities may include: Golf, tennis, horseback riding, bowling, squash, shopping centers, etc. Also to take a stroll around Libreville’s lively, charming and cosmopolitan oceanside, or visit the National Museum, which contains some of the most beautiful woodcarvings in Africa, especially the indigenous Fang style of carving which influenced Picasso’s figures and busts. You may want to gawp at the sheer expenditure that is behind the construction of the Presidential Palace in Libreville; it was built in the 1970s costing US$800 million, and has Italian and Greek marble columns. Or visit the Cathedral of St Michael in Libreville, famous because of its 31 unusual wooden columns which were carved by a blind Gabonese craftsman; each of the columns depicts a Biblical scene. Or just to lie on the beach or stay in your room with that special person you just found by the swimming pool. Just tell us what you want and you will have it… The rest of the night would by on your own. Overnight at Atlantique Hotel. Day 2 Equata Your tour guide and a driver would be waiting for the group until everybody has waked up and had a tropical breakfast at the hotel. Then we will proceed, during the morning, with the activities chosen the night before. After lunch at the Hotel’s Restaurant Buffet "La Goélette" some local girls will join the group and we’ll all depart to the sea port and take a boat to Equata, a wonderful tropical beach where we’ll spent the rest of the day practicing surf, volleyball or at the beach Resto Bar partying. We will enjoy a fantastic seafood dinner at the Resto Bar with suggestive African music and dancing and we’ll have a ball until the small hours of the morning. This is an all-night party. This ain't stopping. Dancing, kissing, loving… unbelievable." We overnight here in some small and genuine bungalows by the beach. Overnight at Equata Beach Bungalows Day 3 Libreville After recuperating from the night nocturnal excesses with an exotic breakfast, depart by boat back to Libreville. Lunch at the hotel and development of the activity program requested by the group or, if you prefer we’ll pay a visit and enjoy the hustle and bustle of the Mount Bouet Market. Evening will start with a dinner at local open restaurant L’Odica, with fine music and delicious food. Hitting the bars is always the best start into a night out, and from the bistro we will go to a typical African "maquis" to have our first drinks and start brushing the French with local girls. Whether you are a party person or rather prefer a couple of drinks in a relaxed bar Libreville has something to offer for everyone. After the "maquis" the party will get really mad when we visit most of the hot spots in town like Hollywood, Cotton Club and La Licorne. Don’t forget that we are here to have good time and few responsibilities. Even though some of you may be doctors, journalists, management consultants and lawyers at home, here we’ll spend our free time indulging ourselves like wealthy, overgrown teenagers. Overnight at Atlantique Hotel. Day 4 Petit Loango Park Who knows what time we will arise, sometimes before 6AM and other times we will sleep in late. Each Safari is different and no two ever follow the same schedule. In any case we should be ready to clear customs and meet the afternoon fly to Port Gentile. After a short stop of 30 minutes at Port Gentile we take other fly southwards to the lodge. It will take another 30 minutes. Here start the exciting and unique safari activities in breathtaking wilderness locations. Designed for those not content with simply passively viewing the sites of Africa, we have put together a number of exhilarating adventures for those wanting to experience Africa with a difference! We will arrive around 20h00 to Loango Lodge. Loango Lodge is an exclusive lodge offering uninterrupted views of the luscious surrounding bush and overlooking the calm river that separates the lodge area and the national park. Lodge staff will welcome you with refreshments and take you to your room. The Gabonese cuisine will be served in the restaurant afterwards. After dinner, the first introduction to Loango National Park is possible and you can have a short lagoon tour with our crocodile experts. Overnight at Loango Lodge. Day 5 Petit Loango Park After having breakfast in the lodge, you can choose if you go by car, by kayak or on foot into the reserve accompanied by our guides. You will discover the beauty of the park and its diversity of landscapes and animals. Other activities that we offer include sport fishing with our professional equipment and trained guides, or a village tour through the nearby village 'Ntchongerove'. One of the beautiful spots in the area near the lodge is the Okume Forest. Our eco- guides will explain how to survive in the forest and you will see how the local population is living with and in nature. Myths, medical usage of plants and trees and its other hidden treasures will be revealed to you. Whale watching We also recommend the whale watching experience: In the months June to October, breeding humpback whales congregate off the coast of Gabon as part of an annual migration to the Gulf of Guinea. A research team based at Iguéla conducts daily offshore surveys of these animals as part of a long-term study. There is the option for limited numbers of guests to accompany the research team and get to experience the whales at close quarters. In the night Bwiti dancing Bwiti is a form of traditional Gabonese dance and visitors can partake of this unusual spectacle on a late-night visit to a typical local village. The spectacular dance with fire to get into contact with ancestors is an experience you will never forget. The eating of the secret wood (bois sacre) called Eboga causes light forms of hallucinations. Overnight at Loango Lodge. Day 6 Libreville After breakfast at Loango Lodge, we will go to the airstrip from where we fly in about 30 minutes to Port Gentil and then connecting flight back to Libreville that will depart around 13h00. Refreshing and relax at the hotel room or enjoy the sunset at the swimming pool or the private beach during the rest of the day. In the evening we will enjoy delicious African cuisine. Africa is a culinary delight offering delicious African cuisine and numerous traditional delicacies. We will sample some international, local, unique and authentic dishes that this fascinating culture has to offer. Later, after the obliged visit to the "maquis", we’d enjoy the festivities at "La Diems” near the French Consulate area and other less known hot spots (for connoisseurs only). The very same hot spots where expatriates, French colonials, adventurers, mercenaries, travelers and sailors have enjoyed the wild night life for more than a hundred years. In tonight’s program all this and so much more, and maybe even new adventures that we have not discovered yet. Overnight at Atlantique Hotel. Day 7 Point Denis After full rest and gorgeous tropical breakfast we pick up some girl friends and head to the sea port to catch the boat to Point Denis. This point is absolutely spectacular, with gorgeous white sand beaches, quiet, isolated, and unbelievably peaceful. We took naps on the beach for a few hours, then spent the rest of the day swimming and sunning and walking on the beach. Yay for real vacation. Exotic lunch on the beach at "Le Phare de Ngombe" with music, dancing and a few drinks. Not too much because we have to boat back to Libreville in the evening. It’s the last night to celebrate our farewell lunch at local open restaurant L’Odica. It is time to say goodbye to our safari mates and local girl friends because the party will be over after we’d enjoy the last festivities at hot spots of your choice. The ones you have got the best time in the tour. Cuz you’re ready to party all night long. As every night before just fun and no bounds. All night party. Our last party to surpass all parties. You may leave at any time during the night, but may not return! Overnight (if any of the night is left at all) at Atlantique Hotel. Day 8 Libreville Sad time to say goodbye. Morning on your own. You may take advantage to buy those last minute handcrafts to bring back home or a present for your new found love. Late in the day we transfer you to catch your flight back home. |
